Après la perfection AOR de "Hi-Infidelity" et la décevante
exploration de leur discographie qui a donné naissance au médiocre
"You Can Tune A Piano, But You Can't Tuna Fish", j"aborde ce "Good
Trouble" avec appréhension (une attitude qui, hélas, s'est avérée
justifiée).
On y trouve certes quelques moments brillants, notamment «
Every Now And Then », mais trop souvent, on se demande s'il
s'agit bien du même groupe qui a composé « Take It On The Run » et «
Keep On Loving You ».
Une partie du problème semble venir de leur volonté excessive
de plaire. Au lieu de se concentrer sur la mélodie, ils semblent
davantage préoccupés par les arrangements et la production, ce qui a
anéanti toute chance d'égaler leur précédent album avant même la
première note.
